MeisterSinger The single-hand watch
Founded in Münster in 2001 by designer Manfred Brassler, MeisterSinger makes watches with just one hand — German design, Swiss made. Heritage Luxury brings the collection to Singapore.
Before minute hands became common, clocks told time with one hand. MeisterSinger kept the idea.
A two-hand watch invites you to count minutes. A single hand simply shows where you are in the day — a quarter past, nearly half past. Read at a glance it is accurate to within a few minutes, and far calmer to live with.

Three ideas on every dial
Five minutes at a glance
Twelve lines separate every pair of numerals, each worth five minutes, with longer lines for the quarter and half hours. That hierarchy is what makes the dial so easy to read.
The two-digit hours
Hours written with a leading zero — 01, 02, 03 — are a MeisterSinger signature: typographic, calm and recognisable from across a room.
A sign to pause
The emblem above the name is a fermata, the musical sign that tells a performer to pause and hold. It appears on dials, crowns and case backs as a quiet reminder to take your time.
A name from music
The Meistersinger were guilds of poet-singers in German towns between the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries — townspeople and craftsmen who composed and performed new melodies. The name, and the fermata in the logo, carry that musical thread.
German design, Swiss made
Every watch is designed in Münster and made in Switzerland with long-standing manufacturing partners. Movements are Swiss: modified Sellita calibres, and MeisterSinger’s own modules for the big moon phase, the jumping hour and the chime on the hour.
Along the way the brand has collected some three dozen international design awards, including Red Dot, iF and German Design Awards.

The first single hand
Manfred Brassler founds MeisterSinger in Münster; the N°01 is shown at Baselworld.
Design recognition
The N°01 wins Red Dot and iF design awards; the N°03 follows with a GOOD DESIGN award in 2007.

Weekday and date on two open rings — one of the brand’s most-awarded designs.
